A geek to the core, I reside in the midst of an Iowa cornfield with my husband and four children. When I’m not chasing the kids every which way but loose, you can find me penning fantastical tales of great heroism and twue wuv … and possibly procrastinating online.
By day, I’m a mild-mannered legal secretary. By night, I’m a determined word-wrangler, and I’ve got the calluses and paper cuts to prove it. I’ve been spinning yarns for more years than I care to admit and I plan to keep at it for many, many more. My first novel, The Lokana Chronicles, is currently out on submission. It’s anybody’s guess what will happen with it, but I hope someone will find it worthy and agree to publish it. In the meantime, I’m working on the sequel.
Scattered among the pages here you’ll find a few short stories, some bad haiku, and a few random thoughts on writing and other things. If you like what you see, I hope you’ll take the time to let me know. As they say, comments are love!
