The boys wanted a tractor ride while Daddy was mowing lawn, so we got our shoes and socks on and – eventually – trooped outside for said ride around the yard. Thumper always wants to be first, but Cricket beat him to the punch. So while Daddy adjusted Cricket’s hearing protection, Thumper and I retreated to the sidewalk.
Apparently he thinks lawnmowers are quite loud, but he still had a great time riding around the yard when it was his turn.

What an adorable photograph. You’ve captured the perfect moment – I can almost here what he’s thinking!

I was so excited that I caught him on film (so to speak) like this! He moves so fast that I miss more cute pictures than you can shake a stick at because my camera is too slow.

I know exactly how you feel. My little nephew is fast approaching two and even faster on his feet!

And he knows it, too…Therein lies the problem. 😀

Don’t I know it! Whenever my little guy misbehaves he grabs my face in his hands and says, “I’m sorry, Mommy. I love you. Don’t be mad.” I try really hard not to turn into a puddle of mush.

Thumper gets extremely adorable and cuddly when he knows he’s done something wrong. He tries to cute his way out of trouble, and it is SO hard not to just cave! They’re easier to be mad at when they’re not so darned cute! 🙂
