It’s rainy, gray, and dismal outside today. Tomorrow is supposed to be much the same, but colder to boot. This makes for great writing weather, but otherwise it’s all rather dreary.
On top of that, it’s Monday. I strongly dislike Mondays, though after watching this cartoon, I have no wish to get rid of them. 😀
Anyway, to counteract all this drabness, I give you this:
Nothing says cheery like a bright blue sky dotted with fluffy white clouds. I may have to set this image as my desktop background in a month or two when winter’s monotone colors threaten to drive me up the wall.
What’s Monday like for you?

It’s been wet, windy and miserable here in the UK today. So it’s lovely to see such a bright photo. (And to know that it’s not just us Brits that have to put up with wet weather sometimes!)

What a bummer! But I suppose as winter draws ever nearer, it’s to be expected.
I’ll admit sometimes I like the rain and the wind; yesterday and this morning we had a decent fog to go with the chilly weather, and it was the perfect atmosphere for writing. Or for curling up under a blanket with a mug of something warm and a good book or movie. But most of the time, I’d rather have sunny skies. 🙂

I’m fine with Mondays, except for getting soaked on my motorbike. It’s Thursdays I hate. Close to the weekend but not quite close enough.

I only mind Thursdays when the boys take it into their heads to push every button I have…repeatedly. I’m at home with them most Thursdays instead of at work (although I think work is more restful than chasing after two toddlers all day).

Work is great for everybody at my office – mainly because they spend the entire day drunk.
I don’t drink. And even if I did I wouldn’t be allowed to. another reason for hating Thursdays.

I don’t drink much or often but, as you said, even if I did, I wouldn’t be allowed to at work. It’s probably for the best that way – I have a hard enough time remembering things as it is. 😉

Me, too. My daughter says it’s because I’m old, really old.

So what’s my excuse? 😀

You’ve got sons. They’re almost always less cruel than girls.
