Some of my new pencils and my current WIP, an experiment in narrative poetry commissioned by Miss Tadpole:

writing

I’m having a lot of fun with this project, though I suspect I’d be having more fun if I didn’t feel like my head was stuffed with cotton balls.  Go away, cold!  No one wants you!

Now, where did I put that VapoRub?

Yeah, they are. I thought I was getting better, but apparently my cold is on its second wind. Yuck.

It’s hard to write with a cold! I’ve been doing it anyway, but I’m not sure that what I’ve written while sick is any good. Time will tell…

Hope you’re soon on the mend! 🙂

With my commute included, my work day is about 12-hours long…so writing with the cold is gonna have to wait until the weekend. Good luck on getting rid of the cold that’s hanging on!

Eeek! And I thought my commute was bad; my work day is only about ten hours long (including commute time). But then with the kids and all their stuff that goes on, I don’t generally have much time for writing in the evenings. Most of my writing is done at work on my lunch break or on the weekends.

          Hope you’re feeling better! 🙂

No, I think it was Thumper who shared. 🙂 Either him or my coworker, who’s also recovering from a wicked cold.

I love office supplies, and luckily, my husband does, too. There are just so many wonderful writing implements available! Have you ever been to Nostalgic Impressions? They have the most beautiful writing accessories. If I ever win the lottery, I’ll be sorely tempted to buy at least one of each thing they have for sale. 🙂
