Cricket’s godmother and her family were here for a visit yesterday, and I was very impressed with my guy. He shared his bunny with his little cousin, he held him, he helped feed him; he even watched him while he slept. He was quiet and gentle and it was amazing to watch.
He loves his little godbrother.
Naturally, Thumper had to have a turn, too:
Thumper took a bit more convincing, but he managed to sit still and be quieter than normal for much longer than normal. I was very proud of him, too.
It’s hard to believe they were ever so little and still, especially now that they’re both back to running around the house at mach 10 again this morning.

Bless, it’s been half term here and what with there being a fair bit of rain McMini has been whizzing round the house at top speed too.

Most of the schools around here are out for the summer, but our kids don’t get out till Wednesday. I give it three weeks before they’re bored silly, but only because our family vacation is imminent. 🙂

You need the cousin over more often to get the peace and quiet. 🙂

I managed a solid two hours of it yesterday! Granted, I had to play warden to get the kids to actually fall asleep during nap time, but it was lovely not having a herd of elephants thundering around above me while I read a book. 🙂

Believe it or not I remember those moments of bliss when the little one slept. Glad that you managed to avail yourself of a book. 🙂

I read almost half of it yesterday, and I’m back at it again this evening. It’s a fantastic book – a real page-turner. I’ll be reviewing it when I’m finished, and I can’t wait to find out what happens next! 🙂
