No More Rings the Bell

When the day is over,
When no more rings the bell,
When the bees buzz in the clover
And the birds sing in the dell,

I will take you for my lover
And we’ll listen to the swell
Of twilight music as we hover
Near the stream down in the dell.

When the day is over,
When no more rings the bell,
When the bees stop buzzing in the clover
And the birds cease singing in the dell,

I’ll keep you for my lover
And we’ll listen to the swell
Of angels singing as we hover
In the clouds above the dell.
