And here’s Tokoni to tell us a little more about herself:

I am a Nigerian Student and Poet. I grew up in Lagos and began writing when I was 11. I am currently a student at Bowen University, Iwo, Nigeria. I have been published on the Huffington Post, San Diego Free Press, S Magazine, Op-Ed News, Space Bar Magazine, The Brooklyn Reader, Collective Lifestyle Media and the Portsmouth Daily Times.
