So I entered the text of my story into I Write Like the other day. Evidently I write like Charles Dickens. I find that flattering, because Dickens was a genius, but I really don’t think I write like him. Then again, I do love the classics… 🙂

Don’t know how accurate the iwl.me is, but I put in part of my new story I’m writing and it came up ‘Stephen King’…suits me fine, he’s one of my favorites. 😉

I don’t know how accurate it is, either (I’m leaning toward not very), but it’s definitely a fun distraction. I enjoy Dickens, but I enjoy Jane Austen more.

I tried that once and apparently I write like Mark Twain! 😀

I got that once, too! I’ve entered a few blog posts and parts of old stories and gotten a wide variety of answers, including Tolstoy, Lovecraft, Chandler, Twain, King, and Wallace. 🙂
