A solid battle plan

Having a good idea is only half the battle.  Executing that idea into a book takes time, patience, and plenty of caffeine.  -Brian Klems

It is but I can’t bear coffee. When I lived in the US and I asked for tea everyone looked at me as if was an alien – which I was, sort of. Especially when they offered me that Lipton muck that no one in their right mind would drink.

I can’t stand coffee, either. Unless, of course, it’s so full of chocolate and cream and sugar that you can’t taste the coffee, and then really, what’s the point of it being coffee?

As for Lipton, I like their iced tea (the kind they charge you an arm, a leg, and a first-born for the convenience of purchasing already brewed). I drink a lot of herbal tea, but that doesn’t really help when it comes to caffeination. I try to always keep an open mind about tea, but I must admit to having a soft spot for the German tea my grandparents always served. It tastes like home. 🙂

There is only one tea (sayeth the smug Englishman) and that’s Yorkshire tea. Of course it’s not grown here; probably Sri Lanka, but it’s the best and always the same which is the most important part.
