This is what we’ve been dealing with lately:

The worst part is that this was an improvement – it had read 106° a couple minutes before this.  The even worse part is that this is how hot my car got with the windows cracked.

Ugh.

How’s your weather?

Our weather (in Orlando!) is similar. I don’t know where you are but we get these temperatures and then a thunderstorm that can last anywhere from 5 minutes to 3 hours that turns the humidity from ‘freshly microwaved soup’ to ‘interior of a washing machine on high.’
Love your blog! Keep up the good work!

“Interior of a washing machine on high” – I love it! That is the perfect descriptor of how outside felt this morning. 🙂 I live in Iowa, where walking outside on a bright, sunny July afternoon often feels like running face-first into a solid brick wall. Incidentally, summer thunderstorms here often have the same effect. Very rarely do they actually improve the humidity.

Glad you’re enjoying your visit here! I hope you stop back again! 🙂

If it dropped down to sixty now, I’d probably have to put on a sweatshirt. It’s amazing how in March when it hits sixty, people are running around in shorts and tank tops, ready to hit the pool. But in July when it hits sixty, people whine about how cold it is.

Oh, weather – you so crazy! 😀
