I had the day off work today, so I took advantage of the free time and got some writing done.

Like, a lot of writing.  Somewhere in the neighborhood of 2,000 words, if I’m not mistaken.

This excites me greatly because I’m not always able to get a lot of writing done on my days off and also because I managed to get a bunch of other things (cooking, a load of laundry, a bit of light cleaning) done today as well.  Must be my long-lost time management skills trying to reassert themselves. 🙂

I hope today was as wonderful and productive for you as it was for me!  How did you spend your day?

I do! And lately they’ve been few and far between. Even if the words do come easily, my two young sons like to interrupt my flow, which makes it difficult and makes days like yesterday all the more special. 🙂

And thank you! I’ve spent years honing my penmanship, primarily due to a lack of computer access when I started writing. My thoughts flow better through a pencil than a keyboard, so I kept it up after I obtained a computer. Sometimes my brain is faster than my hand, but that usually only leads to an omitted word or two. 🙂

Happy blogging to you, too, and thanks for stopping by! 🙂

I rarely write on my off days. I did write and working on the…if it was a three act play, I am still working on the first act. Just need to get to the inciting incident or call to action. Haven quite figured out where to go but I do think I know how to get there. 🙂 I think I know how I want the middle but ending is still waiting to be seen.

Endings are always trouble for me. I usually have a great idea to start the story and a vague idea of how the middle should go, but I generally don’t know how my stories will end until I get to the end. I envy people who know the ending at the beginning. 🙂

I spent the day holding my head and groaning, desperately waiting for my dentist’s appt. next week when I’m going to tell her to fix it or tear it out. I don’t care either way.
