Some people complain about working lunch breaks, but really, I don’t mind them. In fact, I think they’re a heck of a lot of fun.

Maybe that’s only because my idea of a working lunch break involves taking off to parts unknown and spending time with all sorts of crazy characters. 😀

A geek to the core, I reside in the midst of an Iowa cornfield with my husband and four children. When I'm not chasing the kids every which way but loose, you can find me penning fantastical tales of great heroism and twue wuv...and possibly procrastinating online.

My working lunch breaks are all about writing. That’s when I’m best able to squeeze my story-work into the day!

Me, too! There’s just not enough time (or quiet) to do much writing in the evening. 🙂
What do you write?

By the time I get home I’m usually too exhausted to write much worth anything before I have to crash out!
I mostly write fantasy fiction — working on a blog-serial and have a draft of a novel that I’m hoping to get edited this year. 🙂

Sounds interesting! I can’t wait to finish revising this book so that I can move on to the next two. Good luck with your edits! 🙂

I’m still working on the short-synopsis… so terrible that that. Basically it’s about a young woman who has a few different types of magic within her — some more rare than others, but all of them against the laws of the land. She’s spent her life figuring out how to balance her abilities, and begun to fight so that she doesn’t have to keep hiding this part of herself (and so that others don’t have to hide themselves either). The story is the point where she suddenly REALLY has to take action.

I’m terrible at those, too. 🙂
