The snow we got over the weekend is now almost entirely gone, but that didn’t keep me from waking up to another white morning. Once again, the ground was covered in frost when I left for work, and once again, I found some pretty leaves to take pictures of:
I was surprised (in a good way) how well the frost crystals popped out in these pictures. These are the best of the dozen or so I snapped this morning after dropping my kids off at daycare, and I’m pretty tickled with them.
What’s tickled you lately?

That snow that hit New York yesterday is heading our way. Thanks very much – not!

Seymour’s been griping that the East Coast got it instead of us. He’s aching for some snow.

Point him east. We have lots, although happily only in Scotland as of yet.

We’re supposed to get some Saturday night. But every other time they’ve said that lately, we’ve been lucky to get even a dusting, so who knows how much we’ll end up with.

Some of our, perhaps. Scotland is white but London is mercifully free.

I could do with a little. You know, just enough to cover up the mud for longer than a day or two. But I certainly don’t need as much as they’re getting out on the East Coast. Nosiree.

The other day must have been the best day ever to have visited New york. My daughter pleaded and pleaded to go that very instant.

Thanks! I love that first one with the crystals – it’s just such a pretty picture! But I also love how the frost makes the leaf’s veins pop out. One of these days I’ll get a super fantastic shot of that, too. 🙂
