I was pleasantly surprised this morning to find I’d awoken in a winter wonderland. Forced to brave the subzero cold, I at least had the pleasure of watching the snow sparkle in the sunlight as it clung to the trees:
I may grouse about winter an awful lot, but I can’t imagine a prettier sight than this after all the gray days we’ve had of late. 🙂

Wow, this is beautiful! Is that even real…?

Real as real can be! 🙂 Of course now the sky’s not quite so blue – some clouds have moved in and the sun’s gone into hiding – but it’s still a lot prettier than it was a week ago. 🙂

We haven’t got snow but hurricane winds. Swap?

We’ve got some light wind and temps close to zero – I don’t think I want more wind. I’ll be happy to send you some of our snow, though! 🙂

No the deal is all or nothing. You can send the wind but only if you take our winds. I nearly got blown off my motorbike this morning.

We’re about to have our own gale-force winds; another big storm is moving in tomorrow. Oh, joy. *sigh*
