I love strawberries. I especially love finding them on sale, because growing them is a pain.
But what I love even more than finding strawberries on sale (and combining them with rhubarb) is chopping them up, mixing them with a little sugar, and then pouring them over a big bowl of vanilla ice cream.
It’s summer in a bowl!

Suddenly they all died. The end. 
Marinated in beer for about five hours and then sprinkled with just a soupcon of chocolate.
Yummy.

Huh! I’d never think to marinate them in beer. But strawberries and chocolate are a combination that can’t be beat. 🙂
