My triumph today was all about smiles, both mine and my kids’. See, it’s been a rough day. It started early when my car died on the way to work. *sigh* Luckily, I have a pretty awesome coworker who came to pick me up and a husband who had the day off and was able to get my car back on the road.
I also have something delicious cooking in the kitchen. 😉
Apparently Cricket had a hard day, too. Bubbles beat him at football and refused a rematch due to dark and cold conditions. Luckily, Miss Tadpole had a fluffy bunny with which to cheer him up:

And now that all is well with the world (or at least with my kids), I’m off to enjoy a nice and hopefully relaxing evening at home. Have a great weekend!

A hug from my son. And your son is adorable.
And I am jealous as I would love having a Rabbit.
But with our dogs it isn’t feasible.

I love getting hugs from my kids – nothing makes you feel quite as warm and fuzzy as a hug from a child. 🙂
As for the bunnies, they’re my kids’ 4-H project. We have outside cats, too, but they pretty much leave the bunnies alone. 🙂

I think taking 4H would be fun. But with Charlie being Homeschooled I am not sure he can do it. But we could start our own 4-H mabey.
And we also have outside cats who drive the dogs up the wall.
And it is nice that they live the Rabbits alone.

4-H isn’t school-related, at least not here. It’s a community group, sort of like Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts. My older two kids have done it a few years now, and they have a blast. They’ve done woodworking and photography projects, as well as sewing and rabbits. I’ll bet there’s a local club you could join.

Cute. Glad things got righted in the end 🙂

Thanks! All it took for me was a little gas in my car and a couple of hugs, and I’m glad all Cricket needed was a bunny hug. 🙂

You spread them out, smart! I think if we are going to have anymore, there will be spread. I am getting tired😊

We actually didn’t plan to have them so spread out, but it sure worked in our favor because the older two can babysit now, leaving us free to have a date night every now and then, and it’s pretty fantastic.
That said, four kids – no matter how spread out – can make anyone tired. 😀
