That’s right, it’s another snippet. This one’s from Chapter 13, which I was excited to start writing Wednesday night after a very long day at work. We’re talking crazy long. It’s not finished yet, but I just couldn’t wait to share this little tidbit with you:
A single moment stretched into infinity, yet in the blink of an eye, it was gone. Michael could think of no other way to describe the wonder of that moment. And when it was over, he realized that there was nothing he wouldn’t do, nothing he wouldn’t give, to have that moment again and again and again.
That’s another one of those darlings that’s going to be awfully hard to murder come revision time. If, of course, I decide that it does, in fact, need murdering.

Why don’t you murder them all and see which one fits best, or even which was was the most fun.

I’ve got plans for Michael. Ramila, too. I’ve got plans for them all. Muahahaha!
Now, where did I put that blasted pencil?

Have you considered a chainsaw? Such a versatile machine.

Sadly, Lokana doesn’t have anything powered by internal combustion engines, and no one thought to bring any with them from Arkona. They’ll have to make do with traditional methods of hacking people to pieces, I guess.

Shame. You don’t get as much blood spatter with a machete – allegedly.

But there’s something about burying your blade to its hilt in your enemy and the feel of their guts in your hands that you just can’t get with a chainsaw, don’t you think?

I didn’t think it was possible but I may have found somebody as sick as me. Thank goodness.

If it’s sickness you’re after, you should check out the Alliance of Worldbuilders. We’re all mad there. And we’ve even got our own doctor!

Must have a look at that for more kindred spirits.
