Sometimes, though, they love them a little too much. A couple minutes after I took this, Socks managed to free herself from Cricket’s grasp.

Still, she fared better than Bubbles did today. But that’s a story for tomorrow’s post.

      Calico was very tame – she’d let the boys manhandle her, which they did just about every time they saw her. The kittens are a little more energetic, though, and I was surprised Socks let him hold her as long as he did. He carried Shadow from the house to the garage and back a couple times, which really surprised me because Shadow is really skittish.
