This is just outside my high school after Miss Tadpole’s spring concert. She was in kindergarten, Bubbles here was in preschool, and Seymour and I were three short months away from tying the knot. It was a happy time for me, and exciting. I think both emotions are captured in this picture.

He looks just like his father, especially now that he has glasses. But apparently my ex-husband and I looked a lot alike as babies, because neither of us could ever decide which of us Bubbles looked more like, and now we each have other kids who bear a surprising resemblance to each other, even though the only link between them is their big brother, Bubbles.
This is one of my favorite pictures of him (and I have a lot of favorite pictures of him). And you’re right about those cheeks – they’re just so squeezable! 😀
