Photo 365 #1

Inspired by my good friend Mara, I’ve decided to undertake a new project. I’m going to post a photo a day for a year. I hope my skills continue to develop. Also, it’ll be fun.

Right?

Right. 🙂

So, without further ado, here’s a picture I took as I was leaving work tonight. It’s a perfect depiction of how I felt all day, of struggling to shine on despite the haze, and I love the way it turned out.

I hope you like it, and I hope you stick around and see where my camera and I end up. Happy Friday!

The photo shows up in the Reader but not in the post?! Strange!

But, I’m terribly excited that you started the challenge! I’ll be supporting you as much as I can, OK? It’s a huge compliment too that my project inspired you to do the same.

Keeping my fingers crossed for you! 😀

It is! It hid from us all week, too, but finally decided to grace us with its presence for a couple of minutes late yesterday afternoon. I couldn’t see a thing when I shot this (I used my phone’s camera, and the glare on my screen was horrible), so I’m really excited that it turned out so well.

I think it’s a great idea and I love the picture and how you say it reflects your feelings for the day. That’s kinda how it goes, we get to see ourselves everywhere we look. Will be following you.

Thanks! You’re right about seeing ourselves everywhere – I had a rough night Thursday night and then all day yesterday, I kept seeing exhortations to keep trying and not give up. It was really something. 🙂

That’s a huge project, but a worthwhile one I’m sure. This picture is beautiful – I could write a story about it. I should be careful what I say or I’ll be writing 365 stories to go with your images!
