My cats like to swarm when we leave the house. I think they’re laboring under the impression that if they swarm us enough times, we’ll give in to their demands to be let inside permanently, and if Seymour weren’t so horribly allergic, maybe we would.
They don’t play fair – there’s nothing more tempting than an adorable kitty cat. But I stayed strong in the face of such manipulation. They won’t stay mad at me for long, right? 😀

Beautiful kitties. Is that a Maine Coon?

Possibly; I’m not sure. His fur is certainly long enough! He’s such a pretty kitty. 🙂

Be strong. My cats are just as manipulative.

Last night they rushed the door when I got home, and three of the four made it in. Only Shadow was missing, but he’s not really the door-rushing type. He prefers to sit at the door and look pathetic until you let him in.

My cats and I have a morning routine. When my kid wakes me at 5:50 AM every morning the cats rush into the bedroom and the only way to lure them out is to feed them their wet food. The little one of the two puts her nose in the bowl when I pour like she hasn’t eaten in years.

Ours are always ravenous. Seymour feeds them in the morning before he leaves for work as it’s the only way to keep them away from his car, and when I leave an hour later, they’re back and looking for more. 🙂
