I captured this stunner of a sunset on my way to pick Bubbles up from church the other night.

If I hadn’t had to pick him up, I could’ve happily sat on the side of the road photographing the sky till the sun went down.  I know I’ve said it before (about a million times, probably), but I love our sunsets here.

What do you love about where you live?

    What a beautiful picture!

I live in NYC. What I love most about where I live is the fact that everything is so close by and always active. I can pop out of the house at 2:30 in the morning and find something to do. I can go buy a sandwich or a candy bar, and I can travel there on foot. I love that convenience. And being able to travel without having to hop behind the wheel of a car.

      Thanks!

I grew up in a small town (we’re talking a population of 1800, and it’s smaller now than it was then), so I can’t imagine living in a place as big as NYC. And now we live out in the country, so I live in my car. The closest town is only a mile down the road, but there’s nothing there, aside from a hundred or so residents and a co-op. The closest town with a business district is five miles down the road, but pretty much everything is closed down by 11:00 p.m. Small town life is definitely not for the faint of heart! 🙂

That is nice. We live right smack in the middle of two cities (one has ~27k people, the other is actually two towns that have grown into each other and have a combined population of ~107k), but they’re both a good 45 minutes away from us. Still, it could be worse, and I can’t imagine actually living in those places. Small town life is amazing. 🙂
