Well, so much for it being spring…
We’ve had two ice storms since the official beginning of spring. Neither one have been too severe, but they’ve been bad enough to make getting around a pain in the butt. It rained yesterday, but it was just cold enough that the rain froze on whatever it hit. When I got home from work last night, even the grass was slick.
At least it’s supposed to warm up next week…

I love the beauty of fresh-fallen snow, but I do not miss the cold and damp one bit. 🙂

It’s definitely cold and damp here at the moment – the temperature’s been hovering in the neighborhood of freezing all week. But it’s supposed to be near 50° today, and near 60° come Monday. I’m ready for a warm-up that lasts. 🙂

They said that here. Don’t hold your breath too long.

Oh, I won’t. It’s like the old adage says: “If you don’t like the weather in Iowa, wait five minutes. It’ll change.” 😉

That’s funny, I think they say that everywhere! I’m in Tennessee and we have enjoyed the first sunshine and 70 plus temps in what feels like forever but….we will be back in the deep freeze this weekend.

We had weather like that a week or two ago, and it was fantastic! It’s supposed to be lovely again next week, and I hope it’ll last – I’ve had it with the menopausal weather.

Being post menopausal myself I can identify with that statement. Too funny.
