It’s that time of the year again…

Today is November 1 and you know what that means…It’s time to get crazy!

Crazy like a writer, that is.

That’s write (see what I did there? 😊), today begins NaNoWriMo, which for some crazy reason I decided to try again this year. But I haven’t written a word on my novel yet today, and I probably won’t, which is going to put me at a startling deficit when tomorrow rolls around.

Don’t get me wrong—I’ve written plenty of words today. I’ve probably even hit the magical 1,667 mark. But the words I wrote weren’t for any personal projects, so alas, they don’t count.

November 1 also means that NaBloPoMo has begun in earnest, which I’m hoping will get me back on track when it comes to my dearly-beloved-yet-sadly-neglected, wordy home here on the interwebs. But with my friends at #TeamTinyPeppers cheering me on, I’m sure I can get back in the swing of things this time.

Because willpower—I has it. Sometimes. If food isn’t involved. 😊

So what about you? Are you participating in any of this month’s writerly activities? I want to hear all about what’s going on with you down in the comments!

Thanks! I’m beginning to wonder what the heck I’ve gotten myself into with NaNoWriMo, which is about par for the course. I don’t really have a plan, which always makes it more difficult. But hopefully these challenges will help me get my writing back on track! Two years doing all academic work has been hard on my productivity, even though it was wonderful to improve my craft (I hope, anyway). 🙂

I’m so glad to be Peppering again! ❤

I did it one year and wrote a terrrrrible book, haha, but it really helped me understand what it would take to put together my eventual memoir. Congrats on your academic achievements again, btw– I think all these challenges, education included, are paving the way for even greater creative works from you.

NaNoWriMo and Nano Poblano, you are hardcore! I am committed to Nano Poblano and I also have a book to write but I can’t commit to a wordcount, at this point it’s just a “take regular steps towards making it happen” kind of thing.

Hahaha, thanks! I’m beginning to think I’m just crazy, though. But hopefully it will kick-start my writing again. I have three books to finish writing and I’d really like to get them done. I think this will be a good way to take regular steps toward making it happen. 🙂

      What’s your book about?
